I recently met a verrry cool person and she put me on to SoFarSounds. She told me she signed up for tickets to a secret music show in a secret garden in NYC. It Sounded Dope to me I told her I was down.

She ended up getting two tickets and I'm very glad she did..

It was a gorgeous summer day in July and we got cool seats sitting on a wooden tree bench in a garden of a Church. The show was BYOB and we came prepared with two bottles of Ros'e. Lush Life.

There was three performers and they were all amazing.

Silvina Moreno from Argentina who sang in both Spanish and English and had a funky lil instrument that she played.

Adam  Ahuja was the second performer who played the keyboard and crooned so beautifully that he ended up on my IG story with heart eyes emoji's. How old am I again ?! Move over Justin Timberlake…He used audience participation to create a song that day which I thought was pretty Ahhmazing.

The last performer was Madison Mcferrin who sang very soulfully and had the whole audience nodding and swaying to her vibe.

After leaving this mini concert I wanted to buy all of their CD's and follow them all on Spotify.

Wanna check this out and try to get lucky and get tickets to these secret concerts check out SofarSound. They are all over the city and Brooklyn. FYI They do not tell you the exact location or details unless you get tickets to attend.

I typically drink wine, but on a nice Summer night it’s always nice to have a cocktail.. or two.(But, who’s counting?)I also have a new found love for St Germain liquor. So I figured I would share some cocktail recipes with you. Yes, I’m trying to get fancy like Tom Cruise in the movie Cocktails.

Summer BucketList

Summer is officially here!!👯👯Summer always flys by and I try to get in as many fun activities as possible! Here are some things I’m determined to make happen this Summer!

1. Roof Top Bars- What’s better than having a few drinks on a warm summer night?! I am hoping to check out some rooftop bars this summer! This is me in NYC at 230fifth rooftop Bar and Lounge. It has a gorgeous view and the drinks are super strong and yummy. Try. Pineapple coconut cocktail! (My fav)I am also looking to check out STK rooftop, and the Gansevoort!

2. Bike Riding in Governor’s Island- I recently watched Good Day New York with Greg Kelly and Rosanna Scotto. They did a segment where they were riding their bikes in Governor’s Island, and it made me want to check it out! Governors Island offers miles of car free biking. Bring your own bike or rent one from Blazing Saddles in Colonels Row. They offer Free Bike Mornings, borrow a free bike for up to one hour every Monday-Friday from 10 AM to noon.

3. State Fair at The Meadowlands- I love Fairs and Carnivals! I have been a thrill seeker since I was a child. I rode the cyclone with my dad when I was 4 years old! I have been saying every summer for years that I would attend this fair at the Meadowlands. Hopefully, this Summer I will make it happen!

4. Lounge in the pool with some cute floats. Donuts, swans, you name it I will lounge on it! They have really cute ones in Five and Below!

 5. Run my first marathon! I recently started training for my first marathon. I never ran in my life and I’m not a fan of the treadmill. However, I have set a goal to run a marathon this Summer! Hopefully I’m prepared by August!

What are some of the things on your summer BucketList?

Summer Bucket-list

I love the summer it’s my fav time of the year! Always has been always will.. There is so much to do…the beach, pool, fairs, bike riding. I can live in summer dresses and Capri jeggings. Every year when summer rolls around I have high hopes for all the fun outdoor things I’m going to do. However, by the end of summer I’m usually left disappointed and feeling like I didn’t do enough. This year I made a summer bucket list to motivate me to get everything done. My summer bucketlist includes:
1. Coney Island (ride the cyclone and wonder wheel, eat an original Nathan’s Hot Dog)
2. Riding a Citibike along the Westside Highway
3. Take a surf lesson
4. Go paddle boarding
5. Go to a waterpark
6. Have drinks in a rooftop bar in NYC with spectacular views
7. Snorkel with sea turtles
8. Walk the Brooklyn Bridge
I checked off more than half of my list and I have a little more than two weeks left. Does anyone else make summer bucket-lists? What’s on yours?
